Final Instructions

DIRECTIONS:

From Kelmscott travel down the Brookton Highway for 110km’s

Pass through Brookton, once over the bridge the directions will be signed with Enduro arrows and KTM Bunting.

Approx 25km’s past Brookton turn right into Aldersyde Road travel for 10km’s and turn left at the T Junction onto Jingaring Road, travel 10km’s and turn right into event location, it will be signed with KTM Bunting and Banner.

 32°26’6.80″S   117° 23’20.35″E

There is no spectator admission charge for this event, therefore you will not need wristbands or passes.

REGISTRATION:

When you arrive at the venue make your way to the sign on/registration desk, you will be required to sign on and show your licence and club membership.

You will be issued with an adhesive number to place on the front plate of your bike, if, you do not already have permanent numbers.

Once signed on you proceed to scrutineering to have your bike and gear examined, as you pass through scrutineering you will be issued with a Transponder and Bracket which is your electronic timing device, if you have your own Transponder bracket great otherwise you will be issued with one and both the bracket and the transponder will need to be returned at the end of the event. Failure to hand these back may result with you incurring a $50.00 fine from Motorcycling WA so please keep that in mind.

Juniors 7:00-8.35am

After 1.5 hours 30 minute rest break
Second Race approx 12:00pm for 1 hour
Presentations straight after finish

Flat Track underlights approx 5:15 – 7:00pm

UNDER 18

If you are under 18 years of age we require you to have a guardian to sign for you, if you are not attending the Pony Express with your parents it is a requirement that you have a guardianship form signed by your parent giving permission for the Adult with you to act on their behalf.  This form must be completed prior to coming to the event. CODE OF CONDUCT

Please be aware under the Motorcycling Australia Manual of Motorsport Code of Conduct the behavior of your Crew and associates reflects upon you. Anti social behavior, abuse of officials and any other undesirable behavior may lead to you being evicted from the event.

DOGS

Dogs are not permitted at a Motorcycling Australia events, Guide dogs Excepted, please ask your crew not to bring their dogs in to the event as it compromises our permits and puts our officials under unnecessary pressure to try to evict the animals owners.

CAMPING:


Camping is available and encouraged.

A canteen will be running over the weekend and be selling burgers and assorted Hot Foods and Cafe 2 U Andy and Mandy who attend all our Pony’s will be onsite early and late for hot drinks etc.

A one-man band will be providing light entertainment.


Important information regarding camping:

We ask you to treat this facility with the utmost of respect.

This is a working farm; the farmer has generously allowed us to use his property. No Dogs, No Spinning of wheels.

No loud music after 9:00 pm, No loud generators after 9:00 pm.

All rubbish to be taken home.

No items that will damage the paddock to be released onto the grass, Fuel, oil, fats, dishwashing waste, please be considerate and dispose of correctly.

If we show respect and abide by these rules there should be no reason we are not welcomed back in 2019.

Volunteers needed:

We did find we were a little short staffed at our last event and would be extremely grateful for some volunteers to help out particularly on Saturday.

We require the following:

Saturday Morning Juniors:

1 Scribe for scrutineering (marking off bike numbers as they pass through)

1 Assistant scrutineer

1 Assistant for registration desk.

 

Saturday Afternoon:

1 Scribe for scrutineering (marking off bike numbers as they pass through)

2 Assistant scrutineers

1 Assistant for the registration desk

Sunday Morning:

1 Assistant scrutineer

1 Scribe for scrutineering (marking off bike numbers as they pass through)
