Final Instructions

DIRECTIONS:

From Kelmscott travel down the Brookton Highway for 110km’s

Travel through Brookton around the 15 km mark turn right into Fulwood Road It will be marked with Motorex bunting, follow Fulwood for 5.5 kms then turn right into Nalya Road North, the event is on your right hand side around 5.5km’s and will be well signed.

There is no spectator admission charge for this event, therefore you will not need wristbands or passes.

REGISTRATION:

When you arrive at the venue make your way to the sign on/registration desk, you will be required to sign on and show your licence and club membership.

You will be issued with an adhesive number to place on the front plate of your bike if you do not already have permanent numbers.

You will be issued with a Transponder and Bracket which is your electronic timing device if you have your own Transponder bracket great otherwise you will be issued with one and both the bracket and the transponder will need to be returned at the end of the event. Failure to hand these back may result with you incurring a $50.00 fine from Motorcycling WA so please keep that in mind.

Once signed on you proceed to scrutineering to have your bike and gear examined.

MACHINE EXAMINATION

Juniors 7:00-8.00 am
Pits Close 8.00 am
Riders Meeting 8.10 am
Practice 8:20 am

Prologue 9:00 am (approximately)

Racing 10:30 am

  1. Prologue:Prologue will commence after sighting lap.Starting order for prologue will be by class largest capacity machines ascending where possible. Riders will start 1 at a time every 5 seconds. Transponder lap times will be used to allocate start position faster to slowest.
  2. Start:

Start method will be a live engine start at 10:30am

Starting riders will be in order of prologue results

There will be a five (5) second interval between rider start times.

Sign on and Machine Examining 2:00 pm-3:00 pm
Riders Briefing 3:05 pm
Sighting Lap 3:25 pm

Prologue commences 4:00 pm

Flat Track underlights approx 5:15 – 7:00pm

A variations of Ute Racing that you may have seen from Round 1 will continue in Round 3 T&C’s apply.

Followed by:
One Man Bush band – Hayden McGlinn

A Food Van & Coffee Van will be onsite for the entirety of the weekend.

No bar in place this weekend, BYO welcome.

Machine Examining 07:00-08:15 am
Pits Close 8.10 am
Riders Meeting 8.20 am
Practice 8:30 am
First Race 9:30 am
Presentations straight after the finish

UNDER 18

If you are under 18 years of age we require you to have a guardian to sign for you, if you are not attending the Pony Express with your parents it is a requirement that you have a guardianship form signed by your parent giving permission for the Adult with you to act on their behalf.  This form must be completed prior to coming to the event. CODE OF CONDUCT

Please be aware under the Motorcycling Australia Manual of Motorsport Code of Conduct the behaviour of your Crew and associates reflects upon you. Antisocial behaviour, abuse of officials and any other undesirable behaviour may lead to you being evicted from the event.

DOGS

Dogs are not permitted at a Motorcycling Australia events, Guide dogs Excepted, please ask your crew not to bring their dogs into the event as it compromises our permits and puts our officials under unnecessary pressure to try to evict the animal’s owners.


CAMPING:

Camping is available and encouraged.

A Food Van will be onsite with a variety of meals and snacks and drinks.

A one-man band will be providing light entertainment.

Cafe2u will be on site with hot coffee.

No loud music after 9:00 pm, No loud generators after 9:00 pm.

All rubbish to be taken home.

No items that will damage the grass to be released onto the grass, Fuel, oil, fats, dishwashing waste, please be considerate and dispose of correctly.
